EUSF Volunteer Opportunities
EUSF provides a variety of volunteer opportunities for professional networking and hands-on learning for individuals of all skill levels, interests and personalities. Administration
- Provide information about EUSF in person and on the phone
- Use or improve Microsoft office skills that are fundamental to any professional administrative position by performing clerical and organizational tasks such as data entry, document management, or filing
- Improve your communication skills by greeting club members and answering questions during a Reception shift, improve your ability to multi-task by spending time on your own job search or working on EUSF projects
Marketing & Social Media
- Write content for EUSF’s communication materials, from blog posts and newsletter articles to website content, which you can then use as portfolio samples
- Help with the design of EUSF’s website (using Weebly) and other communication materials such as print brochures
- Promote EUSF by writing and retweeting posts for member and non-member audiences
Training & Education
- Conduct Orientation sessions for potential EUSF members to grow our membership base and recruit new job seekers
- Present workshops to EUSF members and other job seekers in Resume Writing, Interviewing and Networking to develop your public speaking and presentation skills
- Suggest, create and develop new workshops for job seekers
- Assist members with computers, printers, photocopier and other office equipment in their job search activities and EUSF volunteer projects
- Show members how to use various online job-search tools, such as employment listing databases and recruiter websites
